Did You Know: This is where the magic of lavender really starts to take shape. After harvesting, we carefully bundle the lavender and hang it upside down from ropes along the ceiling. Why upside down? It helps the stems stay straight and the buds stay intact.
The room stays dark, dry, and well-ventilated thanks to fans that keep air gently circulating. Darkness is key—it helps preserve the vibrant color of the buds and keeps the essential oils from breaking down in the light.
Drying this way takes about one to two weeks, depending on the weather and variety. It's a slow, natural process that protects the scent, color, and quality—making our lavender perfect for everything from sachets and soaps to essential oils and culinary blends.
