Welcome to Lit Lavender—A Farm Full of Fragrance, Fun, and Family Charm
Nestled in the heart of Sequim, Washington—where the sun shines more often than you'd think and the scent of lavender floats on the breeze—you’ll find Lit Lavender, our family-owned and lovingly run lavender farm. Whether you're here for a peaceful stroll through the fields, a round of mini golf, or just to meet some baby goats, we’re so glad you came.
Our Lavender Cultivars
Lit Lavender is home to a curated collection of English and French lavender cultivars, each chosen for its unique beauty, scent, and purpose:
Dutch Vera: A classic English lavender known for its soft, sweet scent and excellent essential oil. Great for drying and bouquets.
Pacific Blue: A favorite for culinary use, with deep blue buds and a gentle, fruity aroma.
French Fields: A hardy Lavandin variety with long stems and strong fragrance—perfect for oil production.
Super: Another Lavandin with show-stopping stems and high oil yield, ideal for both fresh and dried arrangements.
Provence: A graceful, light-scented cultivar with long stems that make it a go-to for dried bundles and decor.
Royal Velvet: A richly colored English lavender that dries beautifully and smells amazing.
Grosso: Our essential oil powerhouse. With a strong camphorous scent, it’s perfect for distilling and sachets.
Melissa: A delicate English variety with pale pink blooms and a lovely subtle aroma, often used in culinary blends.
Every plant on our farm is hand-harvested, hung to dry in our dark, fan-cooled drying room, and crafted into small-batch products with care and love.
More Than Just Lavender
Lit Lavender isn’t just a farm—it’s an experience. Here are a few of the things you’ll find when you visit:
Baby Goats & Chickens: Say hello to our friendly Nigerian Dwarf goats (yes, they're as cute as they sound!) and our sweet flock of chickens. They love attention—and snacks.
Mini Golf: Our handmade 9-hole course is tucked among the lavender fields. It's fun for all ages and even features a tribute to our beloved dog, Turtle.
Outdoor Games: From cornhole to giant Jenga, there are games scattered around the farm to keep you playing while you wander.
Shady Seating Areas: Need a break? We’ve got cozy spots tucked under birch trees and shady pergolas where you can relax and take in the view.
Gift Store: Our charming little shop is stocked with all things lavender—from essential oils and soaps to culinary blends, sprays, and hydrosol-based products. Everything is handmade right here on the farm using our own lavender and copper distillation process—taught to us by one of the oldest lavender farms in Provence.
Whether you’re here to pick up a bundle, play a round, pet a goat, or just breathe deep and relax—we hope Lit Lavender becomes a place you’ll want to return to year after year.
Have fun and enjoy the farm!
